She works with adults ages 18 and over. She employs a Person-Centered, Compassion-Focused, Emotional, and Psychodynamic approach in her practice. Alyssa believes therapy should be both deeply validating and practically supportive, focusing on understanding the root of what clients are experiencing while helping them reconnect with their own inner wisdom. Her approach is collaborative and client-led, integrating whole-person, strengths-based practices including boundary work, mindfulness, and meditation. She is warm, honest, and practical in her style, creating a safe space where clients feel comfortable bringing both their pain and their questions about meaning, purpose, and life itself. At the heart of her work is a belief that life is not meant to be lived so hard, and she is passionate about helping people move through suffering with compassion, clarity, and greater ease.
